MAX Awards Winners Announced
“Rider of the Year” rides 18,400 km by motorcycle
to Inuvik
January 2010- For over 30 years, members of the Motorcycling community are annually recognized for their contributions through the MAX Awards. The Motorcycle Awards of Excellence (MAX Awards), Canada's motorcycle 'Oscars' will be presented in over 45 categories including Canadian Racing Champions, Rider Achievement, Media and Sponsorship, showing excellence during the 2009 motorcycle year.
The winners of the 31st Annual MAX Awards (Motorcycle Awards of Excellence) have been announced and will be presented Saturday, January 16th during the North American International Motorcycle SUPERSHOW taking place this weekend at the International Centre on Airport Road.

Rider of the Year: Stu Seaton from Brighton, Ontario, rode 18, 700 kilometer ride to Inuvik.
Motorcycle Milestone: Sturgess Cycle 100th Anniversary, Hamilton, ON
Motorcycle Milestone: Mosport International Raceway celebrates its 50th Anniversary
Women’s Road Racing: Vicki Schouten, Ottawa, ON
Motorcycle Builder: George Tchor/Kreater Customs, Mississauga ON

3:00 pm MAX Awards for Racers
Racers Stage - Hall 4 Racing & Performance
Following the Awards presentations there will be a closed Reception in Hall 4A in the 'Century of Motorcycles' display; refreshments will be served. Media are welcome to attend and meet the winners
