Hall of Fame Announces Inductees for 2010
MCC Presents Induction Banquet November 6 in Vancouver
Markham, Ontario, Canada June 10, 2010 The Canadian Motorcycle Hall of Fame (CMHF), announces eight individuals, one family and two groups to be inducted at the fifth annual Hall of Fame Induction Banquet & Reunion, to be held November 6, 2010 at the Delta Burnaby Hotel and Conference Centre in Burnaby (Vancouver) BC.
"This is the first year the event has been held outside of Toronto, and we are delighted to be able to honour westerners with an event in the west" says John Cooper, Chair of the Foundation. "The enthusiasm for recognizing exceptional Canadian contributions to motorcycling is growing, and our slate this year continues to portray that excellence. Now entering its fifth year, the Induction Banquet and Reunion is THE motorcycling social event of the year."

Motorcyclists Confederation presents Annual Induction Banquet
The 2010 Hall of Fame Induction Banquet & Reunion, sponsored by the Motorcyclists Confederation of Canada (MCC), will be held on Saturday evening, November 6, 2010, at Delta Burnaby Hotel and Conference Center, 4331 Dominion Street, Burnaby, BC, V5G 1C7. The event will feature an audio-visual presentation on each inductee, a display of special motorcycles, a silent auction to raise funds for the Foundation and, of course, a gourmet meal. A cash bar is offered. Tickets are $140, with "deep discounts" for "early bird" purchase and MCC members.

After holding the event in the Toronto area for the first four years since being founded, the October, 2010 Hall of Fame Induction event will be held in the Vancouver area, in British Columbia. This will allow friends and families of anticipated western inductees to join in the celebrations. The event will return to Toronto in 2011, and move on to Montreal in 2012.

Founded by Bar and Hedy Hodgson in 1999, the Canadian International Motorcycle Heritage Museum Foundation exists to preserve and protect Canadian motorcycle history for the benefit of the motorcycling community. The Canadian Motorcycle Hall of Fame was added to the Foundation operations in 2005, with the first inductions made in May of 2006.
