Amateur Champs revealed at Walton TransCan GNC Motocross Part 2 of 4

Saturday night culminated a week of intense motocross competition at
the TransCan Grand National Championship with a trophy presentation on
the main stage at Walton Raceway. Over 1,500 friends, families and
fans attended the evening gala.

 Winner of the Gaerne Bronze Boot, regarded as a measure of overall
amateur achievement , was  Laliberté, Alex of Acton Vale Quebec

 While Varna Ontario's Nathan Bles was close second for the Bronze Boot
he was recognized by being awarded the Kyle Elliot Total Devotion
Award.

 Dylan Kaelin of Grand Bend Ontario joined the illustrious ranks of the
past 17 winners as the recipient of the Rick Joseph as the
intermediate rider most likely to succeed .

 For 2009 the IMX Canada Cup East vs West competition was taken by the
western team for the second time in 4 years in an enthusiastically
supported part of Sundays program.
