Ride To Rememeber

Well Motorcycle Experience has now wrapped up yet another successful broadcast season on TSN. As you know, there has been a lot of news in the Canadian press these past months, lamenting the fact that overall television viewership is down. Well we can tell you that certainly wasn’t the case with Motorcycle Experience this year, in fact, just the opposite. This spring, as we celebrated our 20th year on the air, our overall audience ratings actually grew by 15%.  We are very happy to report that over 1.3 million viewers tuned in from all across Canada to see the show. So…let us just say “thanks” to everyone who tuned us in and helped to make the show once again a major success!

And speaking of success…one final piece of business for this year, don’t forget that you are more than welcome to join us next week at our 7th Annual Ride To Remember. If there is any way you can ride to our annual motorcycle celebration dedicated to raising funds for Camp Trillium, we encourage you to do so. This is always a great event and this year we are remembering our dear friend, Maxime Mercier. Here’s what we have in store for you this year.

Toyota Truck presents 7th Annual Ride to Remember!                                                                                                                                                                                          Everything is now set to go next week for this popular motorcycle rally. This annual fund raising event for Camp Trillium celebrating all things on two wheels, has so far helped Motorcycle Experience and the local Prince Edward Fire Fighters and their wives donate over $80,000 dollars to Camp Trillium.  This year the Ride to Remember will touch down for one day only at the Picton Airport on Saturday June 6 and once again our partners BMW, Suzuki, Honda, Buell and Harley-Davidson will be inviting licensed motorcycle riders to sample their new motorcycle lineups on a scenic demo ride through Prince Edward County.  In keeping with our desire to keep the Ride to Remember a family oriented celebration, this year we’ve added two new and exciting features: the Buell Stunt Riding Show and a massive R2R Classic Car Show. There will also be the popular R2R Silent Auction that now boasts over ten thousand dollars in new motorcycle related items and while visitors check out the great deals they will also be able to enjoy the 6 Live Bands we have performing on site all day, in the Currahs CafĂ© entertainment zone.

Many eastern Ontario motorcycle dealers will also be on hand, displaying the very latest in riding gear and accessories.  Back by popular demand is the Yamaha Riding Academy. The Riding Academy is a popular mini bike training area for children aged six to twelve!  The folks from Yamaha provide the instructors, bikes and all the riding gear, and no experience is required. Soooooo…..

If you want to keep your feet on the pegs and your right hand cranked check out the R2R website at www.ridetoremember.ca for more details, and get set to ride next week up to the Picton Airport for the a day you will never forget!

We look forward to seeing you there…
