CMRC Forced to End Relations with Quebec Division

It is with regret we inform you that the Canadian Motosport Racing
Corporation has been left with no choice but to end our affiliation
with the Quebec division operated by Buddy Ford.

Thirty dollars ($30) of every CMRC license fee is allocated for the
Accidental Death and Dismemberment policy that is a mandatory
requirement that must be acquired to activate CMRC’s liability
insurance policy (CGL/PLL). The Quebec division has collected these
monies but has failed to submit their payment to AIG Commercial
Insurance Company of Canada. AIG has extended the payment due date for
several months, however the monies are still outstanding and the
extended payment allowance has ended.

CMRC is left with no choice but to end our affiliation with Buddy
Ford Productions (the Quebec operation), otherwise our insurance
policy would be jeopardized and we would risk cancellation. CMRC is
responsible for the better interests of each sanctioned region and
their licensed riders.

Licenses purchased from the Quebec division will not be accepted at
any event sanctioned by CMRC’s national office. This also means
riders in Quebec can only qualify for the Trans Can Grand National
Championships in Walton, Ontario by participating in a qualifier in
the nearest CMRC sanctioned region (Ontario or Atlantic) and will be
required to purchase a CMRC National racing license. No qualifying
events are scheduled in Quebec to date. Quebec riders participating in
the Monster Energy Motocross Nationals will also be required to
purchase their racing license from the national office.

CMRC is currently preparing reorganization plans to reestablish
themselves in Quebec and will announce programs once the plans are
finalized.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and trust you recognize
this issue and decision was completely out of our control and no
options were available. If you have any questions regarding this
matter, please contact us at info@cmrcracing.com

.

Yours in racing,

Mark Stallybrass

President - CMRC
