May 26, 2009 Update from the Dunes....
As another active month is nearing it's end, we'd like to send out a
reminder to our non-competitive
enthusiasts of our upcoming Poker Run this Sunday, May 31st. It is
very similar to a practice day
with some differences being an additional $5 to enter, no riding
allowed prior to 12 noon, and all
participants are almost guaranteed of winning one of our many amazing
draw prizes or a trophy
for the 20 top best poker hands!
This organized 'fun day' is being hosted in conjunction with Hully
Gully -- the Ultimate Toy Store
of London. See them at the Dunes this Sunday....
Hully Gully has offered our participants an added incentive to sign up
for this Sunday's Poker Run before 12 noon....read more....
Poker Run participants have the opportunity to sign up for a Hully
Gully/Ultimate Suzuki Points Card at no cost. This program gives you
back points every time you come in for parts, accessories or service,
that are redeemable in the stores for FREE merchandise and services.
Sign up this Sunday and receive 100 free points on your card, right
off the start. Every time you use it points are collected on a point
per dollar basis, and redeeming the points is easy and will save you
money!
This card also works at our Saturn of London store, so having your car
serviced can get you a free helmet, or buying tires for your bike can
get you a free oil change for you car. The more you spend, the more
you save, and you decide where and when you want to spend your points!

Ride the track, trails or pee-wee track at your own leisure!
...plus more special events... a nice alternative for the
non-competitive rider...
Luck of the draw will win you a prize! With LOTS of trophies & draw prizes!!!
Sign-in starts at 9am -- Riders Mtg. at 12 noon
Run begins thereafter -- absolutely NO RIDING PRIOR!
Show up early if you don't want to stand in a long line & also to hear
all the important information and details that are relayed at the 12
noon riders meeting.
For those that are not present for this meeting, you will be made to
read the displayed Rules & Regulations prior to riding!!!! And that's
not all....
Same --- Word of Caution --- as last year...we are once again
extending the extra perk to encourage all participants to register by
12 noon...all numbered tags assigned after the riders meeting, will
still have an opportunity to win a prize, but their tags will be
dropped into a secondary bin & as the better prizes always get grabbed
up first --- the latecomers will miss out on the best & most amazing
prizes of the day!!!
2009 ENTRY FEE: $30.00 per rider ** open for bikes, trikes & quads **
Father pays $25.00 when his son/daughter enters.
All participants will first be required to fill out a form with
complete mailing address. This helps
to speed up registration.
Minors under 18, both the Minor Waiver Release & Parental Consent
Forms must be read & signed by both parents! Please download both
forms off our website prior to arriving & bring along...
Riders must read and abide to all the Rules & Regulations and be aware
of what they are signing as we assume no responsibility whatsoever for
any loss, injury or damages caused while on the property at anytime --
whether intentional or not!
Refreshments will be available at the WISECO Pavilion.

Overnight camping is allowed at a fee of $10 per vehicle, and you must
inform us upon arrival that
you will be camping over. Campfires are allowed at existing fire-pits
only. Dogs are allowed, they
must be kept on leashes.
The Beginner Track is now open. It has been designed for our 'true
beginners' on a flat grassy
section and includes a short loop through a trail.
We are taking appointments for Private & Semi-Private Lessons on bikes
& ATV's for beginners thru to advanced riders.

after numerous requests....Gopher Dunes has added a
Summer 4x4 MudFest to their line-up of organized events -- scheduled
for Sunday, June 28th. plus this date offers lots of exciting changes
that have taken place: New date....new entrance....new location off
2nd. Con....longer trails....new rock climbing section....new mud
pits....
plus more.... If you loved our events before, this is one you truly
won't want to miss!
