Rain and mud main competition at Ste-Thecle - Round 6 of the CMRC Nationals

Rain and mud main competition at Ste-Thecle

Round 6 of the CMRC Nationals in Ste-Thecle, QC turned out to be a worst case scenario, with heavy rains turning the track into a mud bog and forcing cancellation of the MX1 qualifiers and both the second MX2 and MX1 motos.

In the MX1 class, the top 10 were seeded based on their current points standings, with the rest receiving their gate pick by lottery. By the time the first MX1 moto finally got out of the gate – after a lengthy delay for track maintenance – officials had already decided to shorten the race to 15 minutes plus two laps.
