Injured Renet drops to third in the world standings

Pierre-Alexandre Renet had his first real setback of the 2009 season when he crashed heavily in the second heat of the Bulgarian GP at Troyan. The Frenchman did salvage some points, but dropped to third in the world standings.

Philip Ruf and Filip Thuresson were also both well in the points in the MX3 and European Championship classes respectively, thus ensuring that the Bodo Schmidt Suzuki squad were on the scoreboard in each and every heat on the day.
