The Canadian Tour is back in Seaforth the last week of August and one of the highlights of the week is the Tuesday Pro Am.
This event will team up one Canadian Tour professional with three amateur guests. The team will play 18 holes in a single net best ball format which means you get to take advantage of your handicap to help your team out!
However, it's not just a game of golf! Oh no, it's a great day of camaraderie and could be the beginning of a great friendship between you and one of golf's "stars of the future". Can you imagine watching your pro on television a year or so from now as he plays the PGA Tour? You can tell your friends that you not only played 18 holes with him, you had lunch with him too!
There is an 8 a.m. and a 1 p.m. shot gun start and you can enter easily on line at www.seaforthcountryclassic.com The entry fee is $300.00 per person if paid by August 1.
For an extra $100.00 per team you can request to play with your favourite player. If we can't match you up then we'll refund you the $100.00.
Everyone receives a clubhouse parking, 18 holes of golf, great food, entertainment and a gift package worth over $150.00!
Details you need to help you plan for a great day:
This is a walking event. There are no power carts. You may use a pull cart, your own caddy, or request a caddy in advance, or you may carry your own bag. We feel that you have a much better chance to get to know your pro and partners if you are not in power carts.
- Morning tee time is 8 a.m. sharp with complimentary buffet breakfast served between 7 & 8.
- Pairings will be done in advance and you will be notified or your tee and player during breakfast.
- 18 holes of golf using a best net ball format - Pro's ball may be used if required - bring handicap verification if possible.
- Complimentary refreshments during round
- Buffet lunch to follow at 1:30 p.m.
- Prize presentation - 1st, 2nd, 3rd place teams receive prize.
- Entertainment with Canada's reknowned playwright and comedian Ted Johns.
- Receive your gift package valued at over $150.00.
- Afternoon tee time is 1:15 sharp with a complimentary lunch served between 12 & 1 p.m.
- Pairings will be done in advance and you will be notified or your tee and player during lunch.
- 18 holes of golf using a best net ball format - Pro's ball may be used if required - bring handicap verification if possible.
- Complimentary refreshments during round
- Buffet supper to follow at 6:30 p.m.
- Prize presentation - 1st, 2nd, 3rd place teams receive prize.
- Entertainment with Canada's reknowned playwright and comedian Ted Johns.
- Receive your gift package valued at over $150.00.
